10 Applications That Can Benefit Immediately From Bitron

Bitron’s Exclusive Advantages

  1. Bitron creates an extraordinary bonding effect due to its ionic charge, which means that the protective Bitron molecule will not easily "drain away" when the engine or other machine is stopped. Instead, it will cling to the metal surface, and greatly reduce "dry start" wear.
  2. Bitron has the ability to impregnate the surface crystal structure of metals, which cannot destroyed without its immediate automatic replacement.
  3. Bitron delivers surprisingly lower friction values, which remain essentially permanently in the treated metal surfaces.
  4. Bitron provides constantly replaceable hardening and healing effect on friction worn surfaces.
Bitron is a very unique “Metal Treatment" product, not an "additive" as per the traditional definition. Additives are intended to improve or enhance the performance of the base lubricant itself as their main focus. Bitron is a metal treatment whose primary purpose is to help in resolving the root cause of friction, namely the surface irregularities found on mechanical components or parts, and in turn drastically reduce wear.

Bitron does not contain, in any form, solid or semi-solid particles such as graphite, molybdenum, lead, copper, ceramics or PTFE (Teflon). Also, it is not a viscosity enhancer. It is a much-needed advancement in the field of lubrication engineering.

Bitron can be used with benefits wherever friction is found

The rule-of-thumb for mix percentage is 5% by volume. For example, 95% base oil and 5% Bitron Synthetic Engine Treatment when treating your vehicle's engine oil. In certain cases, it might be advisable to use up to 10% when extra-quick response or additional cleaning action is required.

10 key applications that can benefit immediately from Bitron are:

1. Internal Combustion Engines (Gasoline, Diesel, Natural Gas and Propane)

One treatment with Bitron Synthetic Engine Treatment lasts up to 15,000Km (9,321 miles). You should add another treatment at a 5% ratio with the next oil change, and every oil change thereafter.

In the event that Bitron product is added to a dirty engine, it will displace much of the residue from the engine surfaces and therefore dirty the oil due to the cleaning action after a very short time after Bitron is added. This oil should be monitored closely and changed after 1,500 to 2,000Km (935 to 1,250 Miles). Bitron should be added once again at a ratio of 10%.

One might think that Bitron dirtied their oil. However, it is the contaminants that were displaced and dispersed by Bitron that made the oil dirty, not the Bitron product. Bitron actually performed a service that the base engine oil could not, thereby freeing the engine of harmful contaminants and improving performance and efficiency.

Depending on the distance driven, type of engine and displacement, etc., treatment results may be as follows:

    1. Vehicle response gives a feeling of being “light " and "quick".
    2. Smoother rise in RPM.
    3. Better fuel efficiency.
    4. Increased top end RPMs.
    5. Increased idle RPMs.
    6. Less decrease in speed going up a hill at a constant accelerator pressure. Many users have claimed they could now negotiate hills without downshifting.
    7. Quieter and smoother engine.
    8. Overall improved engine response and quicker acceleration.
    9. Easier cold weather starting than previously experienced.
    10. When rings are fouled or frozen, the car uses oil. Dispersants in the engine should release these fouled or frozen rings, which could decrease oil consumption.

In rare cases, if the engine is very dirty the user might notice that their car uses more oil after adding Bitron, or that idling RPMs and smoothness has decreased. In this case, the contaminants have made the engine oil too thick and there is "fluid friction" taking place. Again, the problem is contamination from sludge, varnish and resins, not Bitron. The oil should be changed as soon as possible and 10% Bitron Synthetic Engine Formulation should be added once again to continue the cleaning action. Monitor the oil closely until it is performing normally.

      2. Manual Transmission

Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant at a 3% to 5% ratio by volume should be added. If not changing the fluid completely, add 120mL (4oz) as the first treatment. One treatment should last for 1 to 2 years, or according to service instructions for changing the transmission oil. If the transmission oil is changed, another treatment should be made at a ratio of 3% to 5%.

      Treatment results may include:

      1. Gears should shift more smoothly
      2. Before engine is started, shift gears, compare the feeling before and after Bitron Powertrain Lubricant product was added. The "catching or corners" felling should have been reduced as you shift through the gears. In other words, shifting is quicker and without "grabbing".
      3. Less vibration of the gearshift might also be evident.
      4. Less torque loss in transmission translates into an increase in actual power to drive train.

      3. Automatic Transmissions

Add 3% to 5% Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant at next ATF change or 180mL (6oz) immediately. Bitron will not cause "slippage" in either manual or automatic transmissions. On the contrary, smoother and improved gear changes will be experienced.

        Treatment results may include:

        1. A very slight decrease in viscosity.
        2. Reduced transmission leaks by keeping seals soft and pliable. Bitron Powertrain product will not restore seals already hardened and cracked.
        3. Smoother, faster shifting by keeping the valve assembly clean.
        4. Reduction of transmission gear howl and vibration.

Keep in mind that the major cause of transmission failure is friction and heat. Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant will assist in the protection of the automatic transmission from these harmful elements and reduce the heat buildup which destroys the effectiveness of the transmission fluid.

        4. Differential, Gears and Transfer Cases (regular and non-slip)

Add 120mL (4oz) Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant. Differentials are subjected to considerable heat and friction due to the loads and stress of hypoid gears. Laboratory and actual use tests have proven that Bitron may decrease internal oil temperatures in differentials anywhere from 5-20°C (41-68°F).

        Treatment results may include:

        1. Reduction in operating temperatures.
        2. Reduces differential noise (gear howl).

Please note, Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant is not intended for gears that have sheared or on the verge of lock-up, unless it is due to overheating and has not yet resulted in welding.

        5. Manual/Power Steering Units

Add 60mL (2oz) Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant.

        Treatment results should include:

        1. Easier steering maneuvers.
        2. Increased pump flow in worn or dirty power steering units.

Please note Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant cannot restore mechanical failure.

        6. Wheel Bearings/Universal Joints

Use 30mL (1oz) Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant per bearing or joint. Their optimum life can be increased with smoother rotation through reduction of heat and friction.

Bitron is not intended for bearings that are gouged or seized. However, in certain cases, the addition of Bitron may keep them running, for a short period, until replacement can be promptly made.

        7. Air Conditioner Compressors

Add 3% Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant by fill volume or 14mL per 1 Liter (1oz per U.S. quart) whichever is less. Air conditioner compressors are a tremendous source of power-draw on engines. Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant can be added with the coolant gas on the low-pressure side. Before adding, please check with your service technician for assistance.

        Treatment results should include:

        1. Up to 10% increase in P.S.I.G.
        2. Temperature drop of 15-10°C (59-68°F).
        3. Up to 20% drop in amperage draw.
        4. Quieter, smoother running compressor.
        5. Less evidence in up and down vehicle engine RPMs.

Bitron is not intended to prevent loss-of-friction problems, except where lack of seal lubrication is causing leakage.

        8. Turbo Chargers

Use Bitron Synthetic Engine Treatment at a ratio of 5% to 10%. Turbo chargers have tremendous problems with high RPMs as lubricants tend to oxidize quickly at high temperature. When the engine is turned off, the turbines of the turbo are still rotating. The drop in oil pressure tends to leave the bearings (especially thrust areas) isolated from oil flow, which causes the small amount of oil left around the shaft and bearings to carbonize, leaving carbon sludge and residue. This leads to poor heat transfer and greater wear of those bearings due to the residue’s abrasive action. This can lead to early seizure of the bearings and the surrounding metal. Bitron can aid in reducing scaling and build-up due to its increased attraction to metal surfaces in high heat environments. This added protection is a significant benefit to turbo charged engines and turbocharger performance and longevity.

        Treatment results may include:

        1. Reduction of heat caused by friction.
        2. Protection of thrust and primary bearings.
        3. Reduced oxidization and carbonization of the base lubricant.
        4. Breakdown of carbon deposits where residue is already evident.

In the case of a very dirty engine, the dispersion of contaminants by Bitron could cause blockage in filters, oil parts or grooves. Monitor the engine oil closely and change early when dirty. Repeat treatment until oil performs normally and engine is clean.

        9. Two Stroke Engines

Mix Bitron Synthetic Engine Treatment at a ratio of 10% with the base oil BEFORE mixing with the fuel. The fuel should be treated with Bitron Synthetic Gasoline Conditioner at a ratio of 30mL (1oz) for every 40 Liters (10 gallons) of fuel BEFORE mixing with the Bitron treated lubricant mixture.

        Treatment results may include:

        1. Better, smoother, engine response.
        2. Smoother rise in RPM.
        3. Better fuel efficiency.
        4. Increased top end RPMs.
        5. Increased idle RPMs.
        6. Quieter and smoother engine.
        7. Overall improved engine response and quicker acceleration.
        8. Easier cold weather starting than previously experienced.
        9. Reduced emissions.

        10. Hydraulic Systems

Bitron Synthetic Powertrain Lubricant is completely compatible with all hydraulic fluids and should be used at a ratio of 5%. Bitron should drastically reduce friction and wear in the hydraulic system along with operating temperature; the number one cause for concern in such systems.
